This is from my
Gnostic Series, a group of pieces which referred to an |
Painted
cast paper,The sculpted "apple cores" spilling out of the wall-hung "basket" in this work metaphorically reflect this Gnostic approach to the creation story.
Additionally, it reminds us how knowledge, as it's passed from one generation to the next, tends to get distorted along the way.
