Our lives are filled with chance and choice decision-making on a moment-to-moment basis. These aspects are represented symbolically in this wall-hung piece. Painted in transparent layers on the background of the work are suggestions of maps and mazes. Attached to the surface are used teabags with their paper labels replaced by tiny map sections. Here are metaphors for chance (fortunes from tea leaves) and choice (deliberate plotting with printed guidelines), augmented by what drives all this decision-making... our EXPECTATIONS ...boldly announced in red neon.  (54"H x 71.5"W)
